Bishop Pat's first priestly ordination was of Frances Meigh on September 14th 1998 the Feast of the Triumph of the Cross.
Francis, a convert from Anglicanism in her 20s', later married and became a highly renowned artist and iconographer. She worked with the poor on the streets of Calcutta with Dr Jack Prager and later became am enclosed nun and a hermit. Eventually she felt the call from God to the priesthood. She currently lives at Forkhill, Armagh, Northern Ireland where she has created THE CHAPEL OF THE SUFFERING WORLD. She continues her dedicated life as a hermit and iconographer and many of her icons are of great renown. One of her most striking is the icon called: THE AIDS PIETA. When President Bill Clinton was in office in the USA Francis painted for him a moving icon called: CHRIST IN THE ELECTRIC CHAIR.
